HomeFreeOptionsFlow indicator for Stockfinder

I’m adding a new indicator to my arsenal : the optionsflow indicator for Stockfinder.

I’ve been able to link @gr8estbot to Stockfinder and plot the data in realtime for any ticker the bot captures options data for.

It’s still a work in progress, and will have to do some rigorous testing during market hours. But with just one day of data of last Friday, the result is promising.

An example:

FB shows heavy Call buying just before an “entry” for a new CD leg up, within the XABCD pattern:

FB-9-13-15This was exactly my goal for this indicator, to show optionflow at critical points within the XABCD patterns.

Hopefully if this works as planned I should be able to alert on these kind of events automatically, and in realtime.

  1. Is the gr8estbot something someone could build without hardly any programming?

What you are doing here is amazing and something I have always wanted to do but I’m just an accountant. I don’t know how to build or even how to go about something like this.

    Amazing stuff.

    • Thx Kyle for the kind words. I’m afraid you will have quite a bit of programming to do. Not only that, it’s not easy to handle a lot of data in milliseconds. It has taken me a couple of years. I started with only some programming knowledge I learned in school almost 30 years ago. A lot has changed since then 🙂 So I pretty much started from scratch. But it’s like anything else; you have to put in the time and effort.
But once I get this all working flawlessly, I might think of turning it into some sort of service. Again; In that case I won’t charge much.
